welcome to Books Technica. Books Technica was an idea that I had postponed, telling myself that I wouldn’t have the time to invest in this project. It is a passion project and whilst you might disagree with my review of books, all my ramblings are my own.
This website or blog exists because I love books. Any books that I will read, I will make sure to leave a magazine style review here (or rather what I think a magazine style review is), in the hopes that you, my dear reader, will find the next book to fall in love with.
Starting with August 2026 I am trying to stay away from the conventional star system to review books. This comes from a place of genuinely not being able to always give a rating because reading is subjective and what I might give 5 star you might find is bland and DNF it. And that is okay! We can’t all like the same book, and honestly shouldn’t.
I do most of my reading lately on a Boox Go 7 Colour Gen 2. Not sure if this is of interest to anyone but I thought I should share. Who knows, maybe one day I will review my e-reader and share why I chose it over all the other e-readers out there.
